API / MCP

Use the REST API to submit jobs, follow progress and retrieve results. Start with the API reference, or download the OpenAPI JSON.

Sign up or log in, verify your email and create an API key. Send it in the Authorization: Bearer header.

You can run one job at a time per tool, with up to 100,000 businesses in its results. Follow its status or event stream, then read every result page or stream a complete JSON, CSV or Excel export. Interrupted downloads can resume from a byte offset. See the limits and allowances.

For MCP, connect your client to https://gtmfree.com/mcp and log in with your gtm:free account. Sign up here and verify your email first. MCP uses the same jobs and limits as REST; your API key is for REST.

MCP can list tools, submit a Google Maps job, list your jobs, check progress, read result pages and retrieve exports. Use getJobResults for records and getJobExport for file chunks. No REST API key is needed.

Download the generated Python or TypeScript SDK. Both use your REST API key and the same jobs and limits. Package registry releases are not available yet.

Each accepted submission creates a new job. If a response is lost, list your jobs before submitting again. Read RateLimit-Policy, RateLimit and GTMFree-Limits on responses for your limits, remaining allowances and reset times. See the limits guide for request, work, download and connection budgets.
