Terms of Use
Last updated
These terms apply to the gtm:free website, tools, REST API, MCP interface and SDK. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Where the service is available
The service is offered only to users accessing it from the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, the Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar, the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Access from other or unidentified locations is not permitted. Country and network checks may restrict access, including from networks listed by Spamhaus for abuse.
Verified search-engine and link-preview crawlers may fetch explicitly permitted public pages, documentation and page assets from other locations for indexing and previews. This limited country exception does not permit account creation, login, API or MCP execution, access to job data or SDK package downloads. Network abuse blocks and traffic limits still apply.
Signing up through a datacenter, VPN, proxy or Tor exit node is not permitted. Use a residential or mobile connection to create your account; iCloud Private Relay is allowed. Country restrictions, network blocks and usage limits still apply. Once you have an account, you may log in and make authenticated API/MCP requests from a datacenter, subject to those same restrictions. You must not conceal or misrepresent your location or network to evade restrictions.

Your account and usage limits
You may have one account. You must verify your email address before receiving an active API key. Keep your login credentials and API keys private; you are responsible for activity through your account. Contact us promptly if you believe your account or key has been compromised.
You may run one job at a time per tool. This limit is shared across REST, MCP, SDK requests and all keys linked to you. Different tools may run concurrently. You must respect any other published limits and wait for a job to finish before submitting another to the same tool.
Acceptable use
Normal automation through the documented API, MCP interface and SDK is allowed. Abuse is not. You must not:
- Create, buy, share or use multiple accounts, including accounts under different email addresses, to obtain additional access or evade a ban.
- Bypass usage limits or access restrictions through extra keys, proxies, IP rotation, parallel requests, another person’s account or any other means.
- Automate abusive signups, verification requests or traffic; overload the service; disrupt other users; or exploit vulnerabilities or access data without authorization.
- Use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, spam, or violations of privacy, intellectual property or other third-party rights.
Suspension and bans
Automated abuse, multiple-account abuse or attempts to bypass limits will result in a permanent ban of all accounts you own or control and revocation of their API keys. You must not create or use another account to return after a ban. We may suspend access while investigating suspected violations, without advance notice where necessary to protect the service. If you believe a restriction was applied in error, contact us.
A free service, without guarantees
The service is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available,” at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no express or implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, security, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
There is no service-level agreement or guarantee of uptime, support, processing times, successful jobs, data retention or particular results. Tools may return errors or incomplete or outdated information. Verify results before relying on them and keep your own copies of anything important. We may change, limit, suspend or discontinue tools or the service.
Third-party data and services
Some tools rely on third-party websites, data or services, which may change or become unavailable. Their inclusion does not imply affiliation or endorsement. Access to a tool does not grant you rights to collect, reuse or contact anyone using its results. You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions and complying with applicable laws and third-party access restrictions.
Optional website analytics
With your permission, Google Analytics cookies help us understand visits to public information pages. Analytics stays off until you allow it. You may decline or change your choice through “Analytics settings” in the footer; your choice is remembered in this browser for 180 days. Advertising features are disabled.
We do not install analytics on account or authentication pages, the scraper workspace or the interactive API reference. Our analytics configuration uses public page addresses without query strings or fragments and does not send your email address, API keys, submitted search queries or job results.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including lost profits, lost opportunities, lost or inaccurate data, interruptions and indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory statutory rights.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. The current version and its update date will appear on this page. Where required by law, we will provide notice of material changes and obtain any necessary agreement. If you do not accept revised terms, stop using the service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
